The Bullough's Pond Association Scholarship
The Bullough’s Pond Association sponsors scholarships worth $1000 each, to be awarded to up to two high school seniors who live, or attend high school, in Newton, Massachusetts. The scholarship honors students who have a demonstrated record of active environmental volunteer work in the City of Newton, particularly volunteer work contributing to the care of Bullough's Pond. Requirement: Applicants must submit a short (250 words) essay outlining their interest in environmental issues; their notable academic work in environmental or other relevant areas of science; their volunteer work with any organizations promoting conservation or environmental awareness; and their future academic/career plans in this field.
