Newton's Environmental Engineer Maria Rose, an expert in stormwater and storm drain issues came to Bullough's Pond - in a torrential downpour - to meet with BPA President Marilyn Campbell and BPA Media Director Kathleen Kouril Grieser. Ms. Rose came to discuss the number and condition of storm drains in the immediate vicinity of the pond (shown as small black dots on the map at left). The group discussed the schedule for cleaning and maintenance of the storm drains, monitoring of the level of silt accumulation in the pond, and the need for a bathymetric survey of the contours of the pond's floor. |
